Social or Digital Determinants of Health

The panel will discuss the determinants that can contribute to health inequities and the social gradient in health including the part that digital technology can contribute to this in both a positive and negative sense.  The panel will also explore what other dynamics influence social and health outcomes, such as commercial factors and economic policies, and the influences of broader forces and systems shaping daily life, social norms, and political systems. Is there one main influencer or is there a combination that can lead to improved health and wellbeing, or are there some that create barriers to achieving this?

Virtual Healthcare: Saint or Sinner

The panel will discuss this and the broader picture of the current and future state of virtual healthcare addressing the pros (“saint”) and the cons (“sinner”) of how virtual healthcare is expected to evolve, including the impact of emerging technologies and changing patient and provider expectations.
