Darren Douglass is a senior digital leader with over 30 years of experience in health systems across New Zealand and the UK. As Acting CITO at Health NZ, Darren leads national efforts to deliver secure and people-centred digital services that support better health outcomes.

He has held key roles including Director of Strategy and Investment for Digital Services for Health NZ and Group Manager of Digital Strategy and Investment at Ministry of Health. Darren is recognised for his strategic leadership, investment expertise, and commitment to equity and collaboration across the sector.
